These terms apply to Figure Captions and References (the "add-on"), made by Cedar Bench Labs ("we"). By installing or using the add-on you agree to them.

The add-on

The add-on adds numbered captions, cross-references and lists of figures and tables to Google Docs. The free features are free to use. Pro features need a paid license.

Pro subscriptions

• Pro costs $29 a year (plus any sales tax or VAT) and renews automatically each year until you cancel.
• Payments are handled by Polar Software, Inc. as our reseller and merchant of record, under Polar's buyer terms. You can cancel any time from the link in your receipt email; Pro keeps working until the end of the year you paid for.
• Refunds: if Pro doesn't work for you, email support@cedarbenchlabs.com within 14 days of a payment for a full refund. Your local law may give you more rights; these terms don't take them away.
• A license is for one person. Please don't share your license key.

Your documents

Your documents are yours. The add-on changes a document only when you use one of its commands in it. How it handles data is described in the privacy policy. Keep your own backups of important documents; Google Docs' version history (File → Version history) can undo any change the add-on makes.

Acceptable use

Don't use the add-on to break the law or Google's terms, and don't try to bypass the license check or resell the add-on.

No warranty

The add-on is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable, but we don't promise it will be error-free or always available, and it depends on Google Docs, which can change.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and significant changes will be announced on this site. You can stop using the add-on at any time by uninstalling it. If we ever discontinue Pro, we'll refund the unused part of current subscriptions.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Florida, USA, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
